Search customer profiles by name, phone, email and channel identifiers

An operator finds a customer profile through global search using a name, phone number, email address, or a channel identifier such as a WhatsApp number or Instagram handle.

When this happens: Operator types a query into the global search bar.

Step by step

    Types +373 69 into global search.

    Normalizes the query the same way as inbound identification and matches it against Contact.Phone and every ContactChannelIdentity.NormalizedValue. EasyCRM shows *Maria Popescu* in the Contacts result group, matched on her WhatsApp identity.

    Select the result, opening the Contact detail page.

Other paths

Filter the contact list instead

Uses the Contact list view's Channel identifier filter instead of global search, combined with other attribute filters.

Good to know

  • Matching extends the existing name/email/phone predicate to channel identifiers; scoping, grouping and paging are unchanged.
