Monitor the technical state of a live chat widget

An Admin checks whether a widget's loader is actually running on the website, whether visitors are connecting, and recent client-side errors, to confirm installation succeeded or diagnose a problem.

When this happens: Admin opens the widget's Monitoring tab.

Step by step

  1. 1

Open Admin — Live Chat — [Widget] — Monitoring.

EasyCRM shows last script load, last heartbeat, last visitor connection, and the last 20 client errors with timestamp and code.

  2. 2

Sees Active (a recent script load and heartbeat exist) and no recent errors — confirms the install succeeded.

Diagnose a silent widget

Sees Not yet installed (LastScriptLoadAt is empty). Rechecks the snippet placement on the website. Sees an OriginNotAllowed error in the error list. Adds the missing origin to Allowed Origins (UC-22.2 ).

Good to know

  • "Installed, no recent activity" is shown when the last script load is older than 24 hours.
  • Staleness is computed on read from stored timestamps — there is no dedicated staleness-alert job.
