Configure the company's voice settings

The Admin decides whether missed calls create callback follow-ups, how long to wait before they are due, whether an outcome is required, and how long recordings are kept.

When this happens: Admin opens Admin — Conversation Settings — Voice.

Step by step

  1. 1

Open Admin — Conversation Settings — Voice.

EasyCRM shows Create a callback follow-up for missed calls (on), Callback due after (minutes) (0), Require a call outcome (off), Keep recordings for (days) (empty = as long as the conversation history), and links to the Call Outcome list and Blocked numbers.

  2. 2

Sets the delay to 15 minutes and Keep recordings for to 90, and turns Require a call outcome on.

  3. 3

    Click Save.

EasyCRM saves the settings for the company, audits VoiceSettingsChanged with the diff, and shows Saved.

Other paths

Turn follow-ups off

Turns off the callback follow-up. Later missed calls still notify and mark the conversation unread, but create no follow-up; open ones stay. A missed call nobody owns is marked Missed call — call back in the shared Inbox whatever this setting says.

Edit the call outcome options

Follows the link to the Call Outcome list and adds the option Offer sent. The list is the company's existing predefined-list admin; the option is offered on the next call.

Clear the retention

Empties Keep recordings for. Recordings are kept as long as the conversation history; the daily deletion stops for the company.

If something goes wrong

Value out of range

A delay over 1440 or retention outside 1–3650 is rejected with a validation message naming the range.

Concurrent edit

Another Admin saved first. EasyCRM shows the standard concurrency conflict and reloads the current values.

Permission missing

Without EasyCrm.ConversationSettings.Rules the Voice page is not offered.

Good to know

  • Settings are per company; MissedCallFollowUp defaults on with delay 0 (0–1440 minutes). They apply to missed calls of conversations with a responsible user; with a delay of 0 the follow-up is due at creation and its own due notification is not sent.
  • RequireCallOutcome defaults off and never blocks other work.
  • RecordingRetentionDays is empty or 1–3650; empty keeps recordings as long as the conversation history.
  • Every change is audited with the old and new values, and saving is protected by optimistic concurrency.
