Work the pipeline of a chosen funnel

A sales user picks the funnel to work in, sees only that funnel's stages and opportunities, and creates opportunities in it.

When this happens: You open the Pipeline (Kanban) or the opportunity list.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open the Pipeline board.

EasyCRM shows the user's last-used funnel (or the company default) with a funnel switcher listing each active funnel and its count of open opportunities within the user's access.

  2. 2

    Select Retail in the switcher.

EasyCRM shows Retail's stages as columns and only Retail opportunities within the user's access. The URL carries ?funnel=<id>.

  3. 3

Click + in the Offer sent column.

EasyCRM opens *Create Opportunity* with Funnel = Retail and Stage = Offer sent; probability defaults from that stage.

  4. 4

    Completes the fields and saves.

EasyCRM checks that the stage belongs to the funnel, creates the opportunity, opens its first stage visit and shows the card in the column. Audit entry: OpportunityCreated.

Other paths

List view across funnels

Open the opportunity list. The Funnel filter defaults to all active funnels and a Funnel column is shown. Filters Funnel = B2B Sales and Stage = Proposal. Stages in the filter are grouped by funnel. The summary row reflects the filter.

Change the funnel in the create form

If changes Funnel to B2B Sales. Resets Stage to B2B Sales' first stage and lists only its stages.

Choose the funnel when converting a lead

Converts a qualified lead. Section C shows Funnel before Pipeline Stage, pre-selected with the last-used funnel. Keeps or changes it and completes the conversion. The opportunity is created in that funnel.

Pipeline widget per funnel

On the dashboard, selects Retail in the pipeline widget's funnel selector. EasyCRM shows count, value and weighted value per Retail stage, and Retail's win rate. With *All funnels*, it shows one bar per funnel instead.

If something goes wrong

Stage no longer in the funnel

If an Admin removed or moved the stage in the meantime. EasyCRM shows: This stage is no longer part of Retail Reloads the stage list; nothing is saved.

Funnel archived meanwhile

If the funnel was archived. EasyCRM shows: Retail has been archived. Choose another funnel

Good to know

  • An opportunity belongs to exactly one funnel, and its stage is a stage of that funnel.
  • The Kanban board shows one funnel at a time; charts never mix the stages of different funnels.
  • Stage moves, skips and approvals follow the stage order of the opportunity's own funnel.
  • With a single active funnel, the switcher and the Funnel field are hidden.
