Block a number
A Supervisor blocks a nuisance caller's number so its calls create no contact, conversation, card or follow-up.
When this happens: Supervisor clicks Block on a call, or opens Admin — Voice — Blocked numbers.
Step by step
- 1
In the Calls list, opens a call from +373 69 000 111 and clicks Block.
Asks for an optional reason.
- 2
Types Repeated sales calls and confirms.
EasyCRM saves the normalized number in the company's blocked list and audits
PhoneNumberBlocked. The next call from that number creates no contact, conversation, card, notification or follow-up; the call is kept flagged Blocked.
Other paths
Add a number from the list
Open Admin — Voice — Blocked numbers, clicks Add number, types +373 69 000 222 and a reason. Normalizes and saves it.
Unblock
Click Unblock next to the entry. EasyCRM removes it, audits PhoneNumberUnblocked; later calls are handled normally.
Platform-routed call from a blocked number
On a Twilio connection the call is answered as busy without ringing anyone (UC-29.6 ). On a provider-routed system the phone system still rings; the platform only ignores the events for cards and follow-ups.
Number already has a contact
Blocking does not touch contacts already created; the Supervisor deletes them normally if wanted.
If something goes wrong
Withheld number
A call from a hidden number has nothing to block: EasyCrm:Voice:WithheldNumberCannotBeBlocked (A hidden number can't be blocked).
Already blocked
The number is already in the list; shows it and changes nothing.
Invalid number
The number cannot be normalized; asks for the country code.
Permission missing
Without EasyCrm.Calls.Manage the Block action and the Blocked numbers list are not offered.
Good to know
- A blocked call creates no contact, conversation, card, notification or follow-up; the call record is kept flagged Blocked.
- Blocked and internal calls never count in call reports.
- Blocking and unblocking are audited.
- A number is unique in the company's blocked list.
