Provision a company account
The Platform Operator creates a company account on the vendor's behalf: the tenant, its data, default configuration and an invitation for its Owner.
When this happens: Platform Operator opens host administration — Companies — New company.
Step by step
- 1
Open host administration — Companies — New company.
EasyCRM shows the form: company name, Owner email and name, country, timezone, default language, optional dedicated database.
- 2
Fill in the form and clicks Create.
EasyCRM checks the name is unique and the email valid. EasyCRM creates the tenant, applies migrations and runs the seeders (predefined lists, pipeline stages, default conversation statuses). EasyCRM creates an Owner invitation carrying the Admin role and the Owner designation, and emails it. EasyCRM records the provisioning in the new company's audit trail and the host's, and lists the company with status *Invited*. When the Owner redeems the invitation (UC-1.11 ), sets the status to *Active*; the Owner continues with onboarding.
Other paths
Dedicated database
At step 3 enters a dedicated database connection string. At step 5 the system migrates that database instead of the shared one.
If something goes wrong
Company name taken
At step 4 the name is already used. Inline error; nothing is created.
Migration or seeding fails
At step 5 a migration or seeder fails. EasyCRM marks the company *Provisioning failed* with the error and sends no invitation. Resolves the cause and clicks Retry provisioning; the flow resumes at step 5.
Good to know
- Only the Platform Operator creates companies; there is no public sign-up.
- The Platform Operator never sets or sees the Owner's password.
- Adding a company requires no build or deployment. (BRD §9)
- Provisioning is recorded in the new company's audit trail.
