Analyze opportunity funnel conversion

A Sales Manager reviews how opportunities flow through a sales funnel: how many reached each stage, the conversion from stage to stage, where deals are lost or moved out, and how long they stay in each stage, compared with the previous period.

When this happens: Actor opens Funnel reports, tab *Opportunity funnel*.

Step by step

  1. 1

Open Funnel reports, tab *Opportunity funnel*.

EasyCRM shows the company default funnel for *This quarter*, in *Cohort* mode (opportunities that entered the funnel this quarter), limited to the manager's team.

  2. 2

    Select funnel Retail.

Computes, from the stage visits, for each Retail stage: Reached, Advanced, stage conversion %, cumulative conversion %, Lost here, Moved out, Still open, and average and median time in stage; plus win rate and average sales cycle. Draws the funnel chart (non-terminal stages, then Won) with each bar's percentage of the first and of the previous bar, and the metrics table.

  3. 3

Turns on *Compare with previous period*.

Adds each metric's change. Offer sent — Awaiting payment is 38%, down 17 percentage points.

  4. 4

Click *Lost here* on Offer sent.

EasyCRM opens the list of those opportunities with their loss reasons (drill-down). The Lost panel shows that most were lost to Price Too High.

Other paths

Value instead of count

Switches the toggle to *Value*. The system repeats every figure as a sum of the amount at stage entry.

Activity mode

Switches to *Activity*. The system counts the stage entries and exits that happened in the period, regardless of when each opportunity was created.

Narrow by owner or campaign

Filters Owner = Radu Stan or Source campaign = Spring Expo. Every figure recalculates for that subset.

Sales rep sees own funnel

Open the same report. Figures cover only the rep's own opportunities; the owner filter is not offered.

Period includes rebuilt history

The period starts before stage visits were recorded live. A notice says that figures before that date were rebuilt from the audit log and may miss stage changes.

Export or pin to the dashboard

Export the view as CSV, Excel or PDF, or adds a *Funnel conversion* widget for Retail to the dashboard.

If something goes wrong

No data

No opportunity matches the funnel, period and filters. EasyCRM shows No data found instead of an empty chart.

No permission

The actor lacks EasyCrm.Reports.Funnels. Funnel reports are not shown in the navigation, and a direct URL shows Access denied.

Good to know

  • An opportunity counts at most once per stage; skipping a stage counts as passing through it; a backward move does not remove a stage already reached.
  • An opportunity moved to another funnel counts as *moved out*, never as lost.
  • Figures are scoped like every report: own, team or all.
  • Figures come from recorded stage visits, not from the audit log at query time.
