Add cc and bcc recipients to an outgoing email

An operator adds CC and BCC recipients to a reply or new email before sending.

When this happens: Operator expands the Cc/Bcc fields while composing.

Step by step

  1. 1

Composing a reply or new email, clicks Cc / Bcc to expand the fields.

  2. 2

Add *[email protected]* to Cc and *[email protected]* to Bcc.

  3. 3

Send. EmailMessageHeader.CcAddresses/.BccAddresses record both; the provider send includes them per RFC 5322 (Bcc recipients are not exposed to To/Cc recipients).

Other paths

Remove a pre-filled cc address

Remove a Cc address that the Reply All pre-fill (UC-21.10 ) added, before sending.

If something goes wrong

Invalid address

A Cc/Bcc entry is not a syntactically valid address. Rejected inline; Send stays disabled until fixed.

Good to know

  • Cc/Bcc on send is unrestricted — distinct from the automatic-association restriction on *inbound* Cc/Bcc.
