Handle a failed viber send and resend the message
When a Viber send fails for a reason other than a contact-permission problem — including an unreachable phone number, since Viber performs no pre-send reachability check — the operator sees the failure and can resend without retyping the message.
When this happens: Viber returns a non-zero send_message status other than a contact-permission failure.
Step by step
- 1
Review the reason and clicks Resend.
EasyCRM sends a message; Viber returns a non-zero status with a description. Sets
Failedwith the error code and message, and shows it inline with a Resend action. EasyCRM creates a newMessagewithRetryOfMessageIdset to the failed one and sends it.
Good to know
- Failed Viber sends are excluded from valid-response KPIs.
- The failed message is never silently dropped — it stays visible with its error.
